I have come to the realization that our thoughts have the power to help us or hurt us. They can affect our health, our moods and our everyday relationships. We want to live breakthrough minded, getting up each day with expectancy, knowing that God is going to show up and show out in amazing ways. We have to dare to believe and if we think overflow, we will experience overflow. When you learn to trust in God, the result is perfect peace. One of the greatest weapons that you and I have is the truth of God’s Word. The Bible says that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. We should believe and exalt the Word of God above the ideas of the enemy and our flesh. God has given us the power and authority in the Name above all Names to trample over serpents and scorpions, therefore, we MUST use our God given authority and speak things into existence and declaring and decreeing that “No Weapon Formed Against Us Shall Prosper”.
As we grow in life we must overcome the way we are viewed by others. We must succeed regardless of past mistakes and future challenges and the key is often being willing to take the necessary risk and seize opportunities when they come to you. People who have achieved great things in life are usually no more gifted, intelligent, or privileged than the rest of us. They simply have learned to lean into their mistakes and persevere through them to the next level of challenge and expectation. (Bishop T.D. Jakes)
As stated by Booker T. Washington, success is to be measured not so much by the position one has reached in life but as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed. We should always show leadership in the way we choose to live our lives and in the way we interact with others no matter what their social status.
There are many opportunities for us to choose the wrong path but by allowing God to lead and others to impact your life in a positive way can be the first step into a new direction. We must believe in ourselves and know that all things are possible by God. If there is anything that you want to accomplish in life, set your mind to achieve it and never allow anyone to tell you that you can’t, because you CAN!
The past is the past and today is a new day and as we press toward the mark of God, we shall declare success and progress in Jesus’ name.
